The Majuro Cooperative School (“Co-op”), which opened its doors in 1975, offers our pre-school through high school students one of the most unique educational experiences in the Pacific. Co-op is a private secular school and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). As a school, we try to motivate our students to be community minded, to be critical thinkers and to be effective communicators.
During the past several years, the Board of Directors’ goal has been to upgrade, the facilities on campus, to hire highly qualified teachers and staff who speak English as a first language, and to obtain relevant textbooks and other educational materials. While the school is constantly striving to achieve these goals, adequate funding is our biggest obstacle to success. Fortunately, various governments, individuals and companies have been kind enough to contribute to our school over the years to help with our always challenging financial situation. Every contribution helps the school, no matter how small. If you would like to assist our school through monetary donations or school supplies please email us at office@majurocooperativeschool.org.
We also accept donations to help specially selected students with their tuition. If you would like to help a student please make sure you mention this when you make the donation.
